After a brief hiatus, bioformats.org is back up and running. We’re currently actively working on the first round of microformats for use in biology and will be positing an update shortly.

In the mean time, here is a short slide show of a talk I recently gave at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, on the semantic web (lower case ’s’, lower case ‘w’) and the potential of microformats in the life sciences.
